Included support

What each plan includes

Both plan lengths support private learning and clear family communication. The 12-week plan adds resources for a longer learning period.

Included with both plan lengths

  • One free 40-minute trial per learner
  • Private one-to-one lessons
  • Private family learning group
  • Interactive quizzes where suitable
  • Parent or adult-learner communication
  • Teacher cancellation protection

The private family learning group is a private communication space involving the parent or guardian, the teacher and Salaam Center for lesson links, scheduling and essential learning updates. For an adult woman learner, the learner may be the primary participant. Interactive quizzes and Kahoot-style activities may be used where suitable for the learner, age and program.

Additional 12-week benefits

Longer-plan support

  • Access to 12 short Culture & Character mini-lessons supporting practical values, identity and everyday learning.
  • Four late-cancellation make-up credits
  • Extended access to additional quizzes and revision activities.
  • Digital certificate of completion for eligible 12-week-plan learners.
  • Progress summary every four weeks
  • Additional age-appropriate educational videos and learning resources.

Certificate eligibility

At least 80% of scheduled paid classes must be completed.

Any outstanding payment obligation must be resolved.

The certificate acknowledges participation and completion.

It is not an academic accreditation, qualification or government-recognised certificate.

What the additional support means

The 12 Culture & Character mini-lessons are supplementary short resources, not 12 additional private 40-minute classes and not the Afghan Culture & Islamic Ethics group program.

Four late-cancellation make-up credits are not four additional ordinary classes. Extended access covers additional quizzes and revision activities. Supplementary educational videos are age-appropriate learning resources, not private lessons.

For minors, the progress summary is shared with a parent or guardian; an adult learner receives it directly. It may cover attendance, areas practised, teacher observations and suggested next steps without formal grading or guaranteed outcomes.

Plan rules at a glance

A clear framework for scheduling and make-ups

This practical summary should be read together with the current Terms and Conditions.

With notice

At least 24 hours’ notice: the affected class may be rescheduled and is not treated as used. Each affected class may be rescheduled once, subject to teacher availability and before plan expiry.

Late cancellation

Less than 24 hours’ notice: a 4-week-plan class is treated as used. Four late-cancellation make-up credits are included across the entire 12-week plan; after they are used, a late cancellation is treated as a used class. Each make-up is subject to teacher availability and must occur before plan expiry.

No-show and late arrival

A no-show without communication is treated as a used class, and a 12-week credit is not automatically applied. A late arrival does not extend the scheduled end time or create a make-up entitlement.

Teacher cancellation

If Salaam Center or the teacher cancels, the class is rescheduled without using a learner class or make-up credit. The replacement is arranged within a mutually agreed reasonable period.

Technical problems

Teacher or Salaam Center technical failure is rescheduled. Learner-side technical problems are reviewed based on circumstances; repeated connection issues lead to a practical discussion.

Final validity

The 4-week plan has six-week final validity from the first paid class. The 12-week plan has sixteen-week final validity from the first paid class. The additional time is only for eligible rescheduled or make-up classes. Unused classes expire.

Before paid lessons begin

After the trial and schedule confirmation, families receive the plan and payment information before paid lessons begin. Paid plans are paid in full before the first paid class and do not renew automatically.

Consumer cancellation, refund and withdrawal rights apply where required by applicable law. Any service-specific refund information is communicated before payment.

Afghan Culture & Islamic Ethics

Pricing for Afghan Culture & Islamic Ethics group classes will be published when cohort schedules and group arrangements are confirmed.

The private Quran and Dari/Persian plans on this page do not cover the group program. Group enrolment will follow a published cohort schedule when one becomes available.
